Services

Operations & Technical

Keeping plant running, keeping the site supported, and keeping air moving underground.

Maintenance

Planned and responsive maintenance on plant and equipment. Planned work is scheduled around your production plan; responsive work is about how quickly a crew can be on site when something stops.

What this covers

  • Planned preventive maintenance
  • Breakdown and responsive callout
  • Shutdown and turnaround support
  • Component replacement and repair

Site Support

The day-to-day activity that keeps an operation functioning around the core mining work — general site services, labour support and the tasks that fall between contracts.

What this covers

  • General site services
  • Labour and crew support
  • Support to contractor activity
  • Ad hoc scopes between contracts

Ventilation

Underground ventilation work — the primary, secondary and auxiliary systems that put breathable air at the face, clear blast fumes and diesel particulate, and manage heat as workings deepen. Ventilation is a statutory obligation underground, not an optimisation.

What this covers

  • Airflow surveys and quantity measurement
  • Primary, secondary and auxiliary ventilation
  • Auxiliary fan and ducting installation
  • Fan inspection, servicing and repair
  • Ventilation controls — doors, seals, regulators, brattice
  • Heat and diesel particulate management
  • Support for ventilation planning and re-entry

How air moves through the workings

A simplified circuit. Fresh air is drawn down the intake, distributed along the levels, and pulled back to surface by the main fan. Auxiliary fans and ducting carry air the last stretch into development headings, which is where most practical airflow is lost.
